Q) Will I be losing quality by cutting my time involved?
The simple fact is NO! The exam process allows for the same amount of learning as a traditional classroom. In fact, it is a better use of time and energy. Let us explain: In a traditional college setting, a student is enrolled in 5 courses per semester, with the semester lasting 15 to 18 weeks. For each class, the student usually attends a 1-hour lecture three times a week. Obviously, they also spend a few hours a day in homework for that class. The unfortunate thing is that everything is so spread out. When a student attends the lecture, the first 10-20 minutes traditionally are review, making sure the class is all on the same page. The same is true when a student does their homework. Because there are so many subjects studied at the same time, a student spends 10-20 minutes just getting back ‘on track.’ The DL Education process suggests that a student pick a single subject at a time, and devote as much time as possible to study that subject. So instead of wasting time being so spread out, everything is condensed into a shorter timeframe. The secret is not cramming, but condensing.

Q) How do I choose a degree/major?
We first guide a student through The DREAM Giver to help a student better understand their calling in life. We then make experienced suggestions to assist you in fulfilling this defined calling and purpose. You may ask why we focus on calling and purpose more than job interests. Well, the Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the average person will hold 10.5 jobs during the ages of 18 and 40. Other statistics suggest that 80% of those who major in a given field end up employed doing something totally different from what they majored in. DL Education feels that by assisting a student discover the degree option that best aligns with their talents and calling in Life that we are equipping students for employment they can thrive in and take pleasure in. If, after completing The DREAM Giver, you still are unsure as to which major to choose, we would encourage you to consider one of the universally-accepted degrees in the marketplace: Business and Communications.
